The Rayhaneh pharmaceuticals project has been based on creating an advanced antibiotics production facility, utilizing internationally renowned consulting and engineering teams. Standard operating procedures have been developed to maximize efficiency. In addition, quality control systems have been designed to minimize contamination or any compromises in the potency of the developed drugs. To further insure the effectiveness of Rayhaneh’s products, drug development and formulation has been in collaboration with major European researchers and producers.
The plant is located 30 kilometers from the city of Isfahan, one of the largest and most historical cities in Iran. It has been built on 75,000 square meters of land with 28,000 square meters of building space.
Thirteen independently controlled and equipped lines of production will be dedicated to producing 700 million to 1 billion units of antibiotic products per year, using some of the most advanced machinery available in the market.
Selection of machinery has been based on utilizing state of the art technology to electronically control the manufacturing process. Computerized, in-process systems and data archiving is used as a means to achieve precise documentation and reliable quality control systems. The production machinery has been validated by the manufacturers to conform to international guidelines for production of pharmaceuticals.
